As a government project, the Putuo Cultural and Sports Center has an investment of 200 million yuan. Naturally, it needs to submit a BIM model according to the requirements of Shanghai. The modeling of conventional Revit components can be achieved using traditional methods. For the modeling of this special-shaped curtain wall, there are two solutions. One is to import.Whether it is direct import or using an intermediate format, but after importing, you can only view but not edit. The attribute is an imported symbol. Since I also knew that Revit has a function similar to Grasshopper in Rhino, called Dynamo, I used Dynamo to re-model it and finally completed the modeling. This project did not use Revit to draw sheets, but still use CAD for two-dimensional drawings, but the basement was remodeled in a more detailed way, and I mainly built the model of the special-shaped curtain wall.
As an imitator of Grasshopper, or a knockoff, Dynamo is naturally not as mature as Grasshopper in achieving the same function. However, it is better integrated with Revit, and controls the input, output and statistics of Revit families and information.
